Sweet as Honey Sweet as Honey This publication was prepared to accompany the exhibition, Sweet As Honey at the Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem in celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and is illustrated with photographs of selected articats from the exhibition. This cookbook offers a compilation of innovative recipes with honey as well as old favorites. Honey as it is produced and marketed today, refers to bee honey. But in ancient times, honey was made mainly from fruits. Most of the recipes in this book use bee honey. Some recommend using date honey (Silan), which adds a distinctive flavor, or honey from other sources.
