This exquisite piece of jewelry is an adaptation of a gold necklace from ancient Greece. Dating from 15th -12th centuries B.C.E., this necklace, on display in the exhibition Glories of Ancient Greece, is composed of 13 gold beads in the form of lily blossoms, and fourteen shield shaped beads with bearded edges.
