16th Anniversary Celebrations The Bible Lands Museum celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the State of Israel and the 16th Anniversary of the Museum. This year join the exclusive archaeological tours led by experts in the field from May 25-30. The tour includes key sites from the Golan Heights to the Judean Dessert. The 16th Anniversary Gala Dinner on May 29th with a tribute to Excellence in Education, honoring exceptional educators for their work in the museum. Advance reservations are required. Summer Day Camp Registration is now open for a fun-filled program featuring a magical journey exploring ancient treasures. Enjoy creative workshops and many surprises, under the professional guidance of the education staff of the museum. Ideal for grades 1-4. Sun – Thurs, July 1st - 19th, from 8:30 - 13:00. (In Hebrew) Lecture Series in recognition of Jerusalem's 40 year of unification December 2007 - June 2008  Leading scholars present Jerusalem from diverse perspectives, looking at its early periods, the Holy City and its religious and political importance. Upcoming lectures by Prof. Rachel Elior and Prof. Rehav Rubin will focus on the appearance of Jerusalem in Jewish mysticism and it's depictions on Antique maps. Lectures are free with museum admission (advance reservations are recommended, including for museum members). Series will take place in English and Hebrew.
