The Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem is proud to announce the release of the first ever Israeli Interactive Museum Guide iPhone Application

Since Israel received its first iPhones in 2009 the number of iPhone apps created has grown dramatically. Yet until the release of BLMJ's new iPhone app on May 5^th no Israeli museums were represented in the Apple iTunes store.

BLMJ is proud to introduce the new interactive museum guide for it's latest exhibition Angels & Demons, Jewish Magic Through The Ages. The exhibition explores the magical and mysterious world of Jewish incantations, spells and curses from ancient times to day through archaeology, folklore and superstition in an all encompassing display of amulets, khamsas, jewelry, manuscripts and books of spells.

The iPhone app, developed by Moshe Caine, a long standing Multimedia developer and teacher, offers the visitor a fully immersive experience containing audio, video, text and images.

The application offers a general audio and text overview of the exhibition, as well as of the seven galleries within it. Every single item on display is represented photographically with a short description. The guide offers several short videos, including interviews with the museum director and the exhibition curator. Further general information includes contact information, timetables, an exhibition floor plan, a map and links to the Museum's, Facebook, YouTube and web site.
