Teachers’ Courses

Teachers’ Training courses in the museum have been developed using an approach that portrays the museum as a unique environment for learning about the written subject matter and material culture of the people of the ancient Near East, Israel’s neighbors, in biblical times. The courses use a multi-disciplinary approach that relates the museum's displays to themes taught in kindergartens, secular and religious schools elementary and high schools. The goal of the courses is to enrich professional educators in the field of education in the relevant realms of knowledge and to expose the museum as a useful educational resource and as an innovative enriching learning environment.
