Exquisite examples of intricate, finely detailed ancient glass are dramatically revealed in this special exhibition that combines new technology with the expertise of ancient artisans.
Treasures of Ancient Glass offers a glimpse at the private collection of Batya and Elie Borowski. On display were approximately 100 artifacts that have never been exhibited together before.

Sweet as Honey 
The Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem opened this special exhibition in celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. On display are artifacts representing the sources of honey in the Ancient Near East, dating from biblical times thorough the Islamic period.
Sweet as Honey presents a collection of ancient art including frescos, mosaics, statues, seals, and coins that depict the sources of honey. The exhibition is enhanced with beautiful photographs and explanations in three languages.

19th Century Jerusalem through Lens and Brush
The Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem presents a new exhibition of Jerusalem in the 19th Century as part of its tenth anniversary celebrations. "Enduring Images - 19th Century Jerusalem through Lens and Brush”, shows a rare collection of views of Jerusalem as seen through the lens of the camera and the artist's eye. With the invention of photography in 1839, Jerusalem was recorded for history with unprecedented acuuracy. The original Photographs and rare drawings are a source of detailed historic and ethnographic documantation of the era, and are also works of art which reveal the life, landscapes and portraiture of that period.

Let There Be Light 
Oil-Lamps from the Holy Land
The Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem presents “Let There Be Light”, a new exhibition of ancient oil-lamps in celebration of the Festival of Lights.
Small clay oil-lamps open a window to our ancient history. Simple and utilitarian in their form, these lamps were of great importance as the only source of light in the dark.
