5.5.10 - New Exhibition 
The magical and mysterious world of Jewish incantations, spells and curses is revealed in the new exhibition Angels & Demons, Jewish Magic through the Ages. This thought-provoking exhibition explores the practice of magic in Jewish tradition from ancient times to day through archaeology, folklore and superstition in an all encompassing display of amulets, khamsas, jewelry, manuscripts and books of spells. These mystifying objects have been assembled together for the first time to illustrate this riveting subject.

2.2.10 - At 12:30 on Monday, following a long morning of challenging questions and tests, winner of the 2010 Jerusalem Bible Quiz for Public Schools, held in the elegant auditorium of the Bible Lands Museum, was announced as Avner Netanyahu, son of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah.

30.1.10 - The Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem announces the opening of Living the Lunar Calendar: Time, Text and Tradition – an International Conference January 30^th through February 1^st (Tu b’Shvat).
Leading international scholars will present three days of lectures, sessions and events, including a fully-guided tour to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were hidden for centuries.  The calendar has always been the focus of many debates and political struggles and this conference will look at systems of calendar observation in various cultures.
