The inscription reads: "To Shema the servant of Jeroboam" It was a seal of an official of the court of Jeroboam II, King of Israel, during the first half of the 8th century B.C.E.

The size of the seal is 8x5.5 cm.

It is possible to purhase a stand, for the paper weight, which can then be inscribed.
