The Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem and the Israeli Museum Theater present:

An original theatrical-musical-museal production by the Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem and the Israeli Museum Theater, supported by Jerusalem Municipality.

The audience is invited to an exclusive evening that combines culture, history, and humor emerging from the past and flirting with the present.

The musical A New World / Take 2 brings us together with Noah’s sons — Shem, Ham, and Japheth — on the morning after the flood, at the beginning of a new world, like a blank page on which the story can be written anew.

Noah’s three sons — Shem, the man of morality and truth; Ham, the man of passion and life; and Japheth, the man of thought and beauty — leave the ark for an empty world, and each is swept into a journey that powerfully pulls him toward the realms of the body, beauty, or spirit. The museum galleries and the silent artifacts thousands of years old become a living backdrop for a witty comic drama that raises social questions more relevant to us today than ever before.

An original production featuring six actors, sweeping music, and intelligent humor.

Before we set out on the journey with Noah’s sons, we will gather to sip a glass of wine — a toast to life, and to the next take.

Performance Duration:
The performance is presented as a roaming show and lasts 75 minutes, during which the audience is invited to move together with the actors through the museum galleries.
