“Everything changes… A person can begin anew with their very last breath.” (Bertolt Brecht)
The exhibition, displayed in the museum garden, explores the tension between endings and beginnings and the power of growth emerging from personal and national pain and devastation.
The contemporary artworks engage with the roots of the past and with materials such as stone, wood, and iron, searching for language, meaning, and stability.
Join us for a gallery talk exploring the contrasts between destruction and renewal, the contemporary and the ancient, and the belief in the regenerative power of nature and humanity.
