July 17 | Friday | 10:00–13:30

Join us for a special Friday morning featuring an exhibition tour, hands-on workshops, and conversation for young adults in Jerusalem.

10:00 – Gathering & Guided Tour
Through Chaos: A Journey to the Day After the War | Led by Roni Bar Sheshet
We will begin with a guided tour of the exhibition: As Soon as the War Is Over, focusing on the aesthetics of war and its aftermath—the contrast between military order and the chaos created by conflict, which disrupts routine and blurs boundaries.
From there, we will explore the concept of “the day after,” examining how order gradually returns in new forms and how the human longing for peace and hope is reflected in symbols of growth and reconciliation throughout history.

10:30 – Coffee & Pastry Break
10:45  – Workshops

Participants will choose one of two in-depth workshops:
Collage Workshop | Led by artist Libi Ya’ar
Create a personal and artistic travel journal page using a collage of images and words.
Sold Out

Creative Writing Workshop | Under the guidance of the artist Nurit Attias Klein
Inspired by the exhibition and its ancient visual and textual materials, participants will explore their personal voice through free, intuitive writing. Those who wish will be invited to share their work and discuss the new texts created and their sources of inspiration.

This program is presented in collaboration with the Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem, Nefashot—Nefashot is an initiative that promotes a more open and inclusive public conversation about mental health through art and culture. and Barutina, the Young Adults Division of the Jerusalem Municipality.
